Length of Therapy & Hours: Dr. Glafke offers a range of counseling services on a short or long term basis. Patients are seen Monday-Friday by appointment only.
Cancellation Policy: Patients who fail to show up to a scheduled appointment and have not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, will be subject to a “no show/late cancellation fee.” This policy and others are explained during the initial session.
Insurance: Glafke Psychological Services is a fee-for-service practice. Dr. Glafke does not file claims for insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or other third-party reimbursement, but does provide information and receipt for patients to file their own claims. He is not a participating provider in any insurance network, and is thus considered an “out-of-network” provider. Most major health insurance plans offer coverage plans for behavioral/mental health, including for out-of-network providers. Please contact your insurance provider to understand the benefits available for treatment with Glafke Psychological Services.
Medication: Many problems can be solved with psychotherapy alone. However, if you have questions about employing medication, please consult your psychiatrist, physician, or prescription provider for medication information. Dr. Glafke does not prescribe or monitor medications.
Payment: Cash, personal checks, and debit and credit cards are accepted. Payment is due upon receipt of services unless otherwise indicated by prior written arrangement with Dr. Glafke. A sliding fee schedule is available to patients with financial need.
